This report was prepared in April 2007 by Winton Sustainable Research Strategies under contract to The Equipment Energy Efficiency committee (E3).
The purpose of the study was to investigate community attitudes on the possible introduction of energy efficiency labelling of television sets and home computers.
Survey questions were developed and pilot tested by Winton Sustainable Research and included in March 2007 telephone and internet surveys conducted by AC Nielsen.
The report finds there is strong community support for energy labelling on television sets and home computers.
