Changes to Household Refrigerator and Freezer Energy Efficiency Regulation
On 15 August 2019, the Australian Government introduced new requirements for the energy efficiency of household refrigerators and freezers in the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Household Refrigerating Appliances) Determination 2019. Over time, all household refrigerator and freezers will meet the new requirements.
