Improved energy labelling making it easier to choose energy efficient appliances
Energy Rating Labels are being improved to help make it easier to compare different dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers prior to purchase.
Over the coming year, labels will feature the addition of ‘Program Time’. This describes how long the appliance takes to complete the program that is used to determine its energy efficiency rating.
When reading the new label, always remember:
the more stars, the more energy efficient the appliance is
