Welcome to the new and improved energyrating.gov.au, created to share information on policies and programs that improve the energy efficiency of products and appliances. It also contains energy efficiency tips to help you reduce your power bills.

This site has been redesigned to make it easier for consumers and people working in industry to find the information they need. You might be a consumer wanting to know how to select an energy-efficient washing machine for your home, or an industry professional looking for the technical requirements to register a new refrigerated cabinet. In either case, this site has been organised and the content tailored to answer your questions.

So visit the consumer or industry pages to learn more about energy efficient products in Australia and the steps we’re taking to reduce power bills and help Australia reach Net Zero by 2050.

The website will be updated frequently over the coming months. Please let us know if you notice any webpages or content that might need changing or improving, or anything that is missing. Your feedback will help us enhance the website to better meet your needs.

You can email feedback to energyratingwebsite@dcceew.gov.au
