Using the application programming interface

Display Energy Rating Icons

Businesses that advertise regulated products online can display Energy Rating Icons in their content by either:

using an application programming interface (API)
using sample icons.

To use the API to integrate icons with your content online, you can:

download the regulated product data extract from data.gov.au
provide the download to your digital or technical team to implement.

When the information is used a PNG file of the relevant icon will generate. This will allow consumers to easily compare the energy efficiency of different products on your site.
